A 3D Lifecast is a finely detailed cast made directly from a mould taken of you baby’s or child’s hand or foot. Adult hands can also be cast to make unique family keepsakes.
Moulds are created using impression powder (alginate), which is safe to use on even the most delicate skin.

This product is widely used in the Dental Industry. The alginate is placed in a container and your child’s hand for foot is gentle placed inside, holding the child’s foot or hand in the cast for a few minutes while it sets then I gently wriggle out the hand or foot out of the cast. The alginate I use allows the moulds to be taken rapidly 1-3 minutes to set ( bigger Lifecast like hands entwined can take 10 minutes to take) , giving very detailed impressions. You can then choose what finish you would like. Taking the impression is the quickest part of the process.
The mould is then taken away to prepare the 3D life cast which is created using plaster/ stone. After drying out for a few weeks to ensure longevity of the Lifecast they are sanded painted & guilded with finishing wax, mounted in a frame of your choice along with a personalized wooden plaque.
